In order to qualify for membership at Anderson Federal Credit Union, you must meet one (1) of the following requirements:

Live, work, worship, or attend school in Anderson County, South Carolina
Live, work, worship, or attend school in designated areas of Hart or Elbert Counties of Georgia
Be an immediate family or household member* of a current member of the credit union

* Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild (including "step" and adoptive relations). A household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.

Bring proper identification (driver's license/state ID and Social Security Card)
Open a savings account with a $5.00 minimum deposit. Credit unions are member-owned, so this $5.00 deposit is your share of ownership. After you have opened a savings account, you can apply for other products and services.
